My focus as a Non-Executive Director centers on transforming traditional board oversight into strategic value creation, helping companies turn governance, sustainability, and compliance from necessary costs into competitive advantages.
Rather than simply providing oversight, I engage with boards as a strategic partner who understands both the technical complexities of modern business operations and the regulatory landscapes that shape them. Drawing from my experience building over 2,500 programmes across more than 100 countries, I work with management teams to identify opportunities where robust governance frameworks can drive operational efficiency, where sustainability initiatives can unlock new revenue streams, and where compliance excellence can enhance stakeholder trust and market positioning.
My approach is practical and results-oriented—I believe boards should be enablers of responsible growth, not barriers to innovation. I bring deep technical knowledge across AI governance, ESG integration, risk management, and regulatory compliance, but more importantly, I help boards connect these domains to business strategy and stakeholder value creation.
Whether it's guiding digital transformation initiatives, navigating complex international regulations, or building resilient supply chains, my goal is to ensure every governance decision contributes to sustainable competitive advantage. I'm passionate about working with ambitious companies that recognize the strategic value of excellent governance and want a board member who can help them execute on that vision while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and accountability.

With a background in law and technology, I worked for a law firm and then in-house for almost 10 years, focused on legal, governance and compliance for large US and Japanese companies

With a move to Hong Kong in 2000, my focus changed to management, leadership and building great companies and their ethical teams.

In 2006, I founded a group to focus on compliance, governance and anti-bribery management. After almost 15 years, 500 staff and over 10+ offices the business was sold to a leading public company who has continued to maximize our data, software and research assets.

With the sale of the business, we created a new business focused on software and assurance for sustainability,. compliance and governance. Leading the development of an industry where sustainability is at its heart.
