Audit Committees are now being redefined.

As a certified auditor across multiple ISO management systems—including anti-bribery (ISO 37001), AI governance (ISO 42001), compliance, health & safety, and environmental standards—combined with my role as an auditor of sustainability statements, I bring comprehensive assurance expertise to help audit committees navigate today's complex oversight landscape. My hands-on experience conducting audits across these diverse but interconnected domains provides me with unique insights into how modern organizations must integrate their risk management and assurance processes.

Having audited hundreds of management systems and sustainability reports globally, I understand the critical intersections between AI governance, environmental compliance, anti-corruption controls, and operational safety that audit committees must now oversee.

This multi-disciplinary auditing background enables me to help audit committees develop integrated oversight approaches that recognize how AI systems impact sustainability reporting, how environmental risks intersect with compliance obligations, and how anti-bribery controls must evolve for automated decision-making processes.

My experience assuring sustainability statements gives me practical knowledge of the verification challenges audit committees face as ESG reporting becomes subject to the same rigor as financial statements. As a NED, I help audit committees leverage this interconnected view of modern risk management, ensuring they can provide meaningful oversight across compliance, AI, and sustainability domains while maintaining the independence and professional skepticism essential to effective governance.
